WAYS TO MAKE PROFIT FROM SPORTS

 

1. Start A Sports Blog– Love to write? You can start a blog talking about your favorite sport or athletes. If you’re consistent and put out great work, you’ll be able to monetize it over time and potentially make a lot of money with it.

Start A Sports Podcast– What’s even more popular than blogging nowadays is podcasting and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. start a podcast talking about the current events in sports and before you know it you might be interviewing your favorite athletes and selling ad space on the podcast.
    
3. Help Athlete Transition In Other Careers– This falls in line with what I am currently doing now. Athletes  struggle transitioning into other careers because it is a whole different ball game. This is an emerging space and people are getting into it. . Help them do this effectively and some athletes will gladly pay you for it.
    
4. Create Highlight Videos– ,Highlight videos are still in style and content creation continues to evolve. Every athlete loves highlights of themselves. If you’re good with a camera, go out to high school or college games and start filming. Chop it up and contact the athletes to see if they’ll buy it. Rinse & repeat and continue to build your portfolio. It might become your full-time thing.
    
5. Start A YouTube Channel Commentating– YouTube is another very popular platform that is still on the rise. Video content has the most engagement and if you’re comfortable being on camera then you should definitely start your own channel. If you don’t make money off of ads, who knows, you might just get picked up by ESPN.
    
6. Become A Sports Photographer– Cassy Athena is a name that you need to know if you want to get into sports photography. She has quietly made a name for herself as well as a substantial living taking pictures of NBA players. If you have skills with the camera, you might be next.
   
   
   
    
7. Manage Athletes Or Teams Social Media Accounts– Social media takes up a lot of time and to actually be good with it can take up even more. Teams and/or athletes are looking for someone else to do the work to help grow their presence on different platforms. Got experience in this industry? You might be able to take this off of their hands and get paid for managing their profiles.

Start A Meal Prep Business For Athletes– This is huge because everyone needs to eat, especially athletes. Tobias Dorzon has taken his passion for football and cooking to build a career as a chef for athletes. While he is now in the process of opening up his own restaurant, for a while he was making 6-figures as a private chef for many guys in the NFL.
    
9. Start A Sports Betting Company– Since the supreme court has legalized state betting on sports, betting has now become even bigger than it already was. 10. Sell Sports Sponsorship– Last but not least you can sell sports sponsorship as a middle-man. Especially if you have strong connections and good communication skills. Businesses are always looking for ways to get the word out on their company and getting them in the door with sporting events, and negotiating those deals can have you walking away with some decent profit.
